AIBartender.app is designed to avoid collecting information that directly identifies you. We do not require accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, username, payment information, or a stored date of birth to use the core app.
This Privacy Policy explains the limited information we process to operate the app, verify age eligibility, generate cocktail-related responses, enforce reasonable usage limits, measure anonymous recommendation performance, support affiliate links, maintain security, and improve service reliability.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, which address alcohol-related eligibility, AI limitations, and responsible use of the service.
This policy applies to AIBartender.app, including our website, mobile web experience, AI cocktail features, bottle-photo review features, recommendation features, affiliate links, and related services.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, retailers, platforms, or services that we do not own or control, including Amazon and other websites you may visit after selecting an outbound link.
AIBartender.app is intended only for individuals who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.
When you complete the age-verification process, your date of birth is processed only long enough to determine eligibility. We do not store your full date of birth.
We may store a first-party cookie named cocktail_age_gate that records only that your browser has passed the age gate. This cookie does not contain your date of birth, name, email address, or cocktail-related inputs.
We do not create user accounts for the core app.
We do not collect or store your name, email address, username, phone number, mailing address, payment card information, government-issued identification numbers, or full date of birth for normal operation of the app.
We do not store your AI prompts, cocktail requests, AI responses, or uploaded bottle photos after processing is completed.
We do not use your content to train our own AI models.
We do not sell personal information and do not create advertising profiles.
We do not use third-party advertising networks, behavioral advertising pixels, marketing SDKs, email marketing SDKs, authentication providers, or similar tracking technologies as part of the core application experience.
Age Check Information. Date-of-birth information is processed solely to determine eligibility and is discarded after the check is completed.
Age Verification Cookie. The cocktail_age_gate cookie records that a browser passed the age gate.
Usage Limit Cookie. We use a first-party cookie named cocktail_usage_id to enforce usage limits and reduce abuse. The cookie expires after seven (7) days.
Rate-Limit Records. We may use daily HMAC-hashed IP buckets for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Raw IP addresses are not written to the application usage ledger.
AI Request Content. Text submitted for cocktail recommendations or ingredient assistance may be sent to an AI provider solely to generate the requested response.
Bottle Photo Content. Optional bottle photos may be processed for recognition and analysis. Images are not retained after processing is complete.
Anonymous Recommendation Analytics. We may collect anonymous aggregate analytics relating to recommendation impressions, personality selections, experiment variants, and product clicks.
Anonymous Affiliate Attribution. We may record anonymous affiliate-click events, including product identifiers, placement identifiers, and date buckets. These records are not associated with your identity.
Local Device Preferences. Certain preferences may be stored locally in your browser, including bartender personality selections and other convenience settings.

AIBartender uses AI services to generate cocktail recommendations, ingredient-related guidance, bottle-review outputs, and recommendation analysis.
Text and images submitted through the service may be sent to OpenAI or another disclosed AI provider solely to provide requested functionality.
We do not store prompts, AI responses, or bottle photos in our application database.
AI debug logging is disabled in normal production operations.
We do not train our own AI models using your content. Where available, our AI-provider settings are configured to opt out of model training. AI providers may still process information for security, abuse prevention, and service-operation purposes under their own terms.
AIBartender may recommend non-alcoholic products such as barware, glassware, cocktail tools, books, mixers, syrups, and accessories.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate links are disclosed near applicable recommendations. We may count anonymous product clicks to evaluate recommendation performance, but we do not create user-level shopping profiles and do not associate purchases with identified individuals.
AIBartender does not sell alcohol and does not directly facilitate alcohol purchases.
We use a limited number of first-party cookies and browser-storage values necessary for operation of the service.
These include age-verification cookies, usage-limit cookies, and local preference settings.
The usage-limit cookie expires after seven (7) days.
You may clear cookies and local-storage values through your browser settings. Doing so may reset age-verification status, usage-limit status, and local preferences.
We use service providers to operate the application, including cloud-hosting providers, AI-processing providers, and affiliate-retail platforms.
These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services.
Fonts are served locally by AIBartender and do not require routine runtime requests to external font-hosting providers during normal operation.
We do not retain account records because the core application does not create accounts.
We do not retain full dates of birth after age verification.
Anonymous operational records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, analytics, and operational purposes.
Anonymous affiliate-attribution records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary and generally targeted for retention of no more than ninety (90) days.
Because we do not maintain user accounts, profiles, stored prompts, stored responses, or stored bottle photos, there may be little or no user-specific data available for retrieval, correction, or deletion.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited information processed by the application.
These safeguards include encrypted transport, restricted administrative access, limited data collection, and controls designed to prevent sensitive AI content from being written to logs during normal operation.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide notice as required.
AIBartender is not directed to children.
The service is intended only for individuals legally permitted to receive alcohol-related content in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal information maintained by us.
Because AIBartender is designed not to maintain user accounts, user profiles, stored prompts, stored responses, or stored photos, we may have little or no information capable of being associated with a particular consumer.
Residents of California and other states with applicable privacy laws may contact us regarding privacy-rights requests. We will evaluate requests in accordance with applicable law and the information reasonably available to us.
AIBartender does not use uploaded images to identify individuals.
We do not create facial-recognition profiles, biometric templates, biometric identifiers, or biometric-information records.
Images submitted for bottle-recognition or related features are processed solely to provide requested functionality and are not used for identity-verification purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time when the application changes, service providers change, legal requirements evolve, or operational practices are updated.
